Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is a Mexican American Sportscaster. She is an ESPN news anchor and hosts SportsNation occasionally. She began her career at ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is the TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins was bi-lingual since nine years old. It was a helpful skill that helped her secure her first position in the production department for Univision in Miami that allowed her to collaborate with producers of national shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. She was hired as a reporter for The CBS St. Petersburg affiliate after that. She moved from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 as a reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish channels KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. Covering stories related to drugs and immigration issues on both sides the Texas-Mexico Border, she served as reporter for news for KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel KNVO TV48 at 5pm, then a news reporter on English until 9pm, the news anchor was on until 10pm, before returning back to KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel. Then, she became the sports host on the morning show that is Despierta America Deportes. She also served as an anchor on sports in Primer Impacto, a magazine program that airs on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collin's parents were originally from Veracruz Mexico. They eventually moved in Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November 1985. She is younger than her sister. Her family relocated to Miami in 1992 following the departure from Mexico. They divorced shortly thereafter in 1995. Her mother remarried a naval architect called Fabio Fajardo who died from kidney cancer in 2006. She stayed in Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime and was offered an opportunity to work. Antonietta was about to graduate from high school, however she knew her plans for what she would accomplish. The campus was beautiful as well as offered the level of education she wanted. After completing the requirements for high school, she attended the university to study media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor as well as the director of WRMU in which she's a part. They developed a close connection. The passion he had for journalism as well as confidence in her own abilities inspired her. In turn, she attempted to live up to his expectations and never disappoint him.
